THIS EVENING, May 4, first time, an accurate stage representation, in 16 scenes, of the glorious and unparalleled SIEGE STORMING, and TAKING, at the point of the Sword and Bayonet, the strong Outwork and City of BADAJOZ, by the brave and gallant Allied army, commanded by Field-Marshal the most noble Lord Wellington. Characters, besieged and besiegers, are inserted in the bills of the day. The various incidents in the above piece requiring as great an extent of stage-room as the present popular grand Horse Spectacle, called the BRAVE COSSACK, on the Secret Enemy; and in consequence of both pieces represented on the same night, the public are most respectfully informed, that the famous Siege and Storming of Badajoz will be given at half-past six to a minute; immediately after which, the celebrated Mr. Ducrow’s elevated Rope-Dancing; and, with extensive scenery, machinery, platform-work, &c. the popular grand Dramatic Horse-stage Spectacle, called the BRAVE COSSACK; or, Secret Enemy. Divers surprising feats of Horsemanship; and the new Comic Pantomime of TAFFY in HOLLAND. Doors open at half-past five. Boxes 4s. Pit 2s. Gal. 1s. Second price at half-past eight.
