The amusements for this week are expresly [sic] selected, in order to form a most capital entertainment, viz. the whole of Young Astley’s exercises, with those of his troop just arrived from abroad, and which will be reinforced by the troop of Mr. Astley, sen. betides which, three musical pieces, two dances, the best rope-dancer that ever appeared, General Jackoo; the musical child; the mandoline [sic] player, the taylor’s combat with his two horses, feats of strength and Venetian amusements, a capital group of tumblers, the best in the world, (part of which are just arrived from abroad); together with a pantomime and a temple of beautiful fireworks; and, by desire, a celebrated minuet danced by two horses, rode by Messrs. Astley, father and son, and Vestris’s minuet, by a pupil of Young Astley.
