AT the Royal Grove, and Astley’s Amphitheatre, Westminster, This Evening, precisely at half past six o’clock, by way of Prelude, a droll representation of an Exercise, as performed lately on Kew and Richmond Green, by a subscription of the Nobility, called
A JINGLING MATCH,
By twenty Candidates, and a most active Jingler, all uniformly deessed [sic] on the occasion. The winner will have a SILVER WATCH presented to him; the Exercise is to be performed in the large Circle of the Riding School.
Immediately after the Jingling Match, the Entertainments will commence with the laughable Performance of the
DANCING DOGS.
The Storming of the Castle, and the Attack upon the Fire-works, the moment they are played off, by the
ENGLISH BULL-DOG, CHILLIBY,
Who is so well tamed, that he will permit his collar and iron noseband, or cavison, and every other apparatus, to be taken off to perform, and, after being at liberty, will tamely submit to have them put on again.
N.B. Mr. JONANNOT is engaged at this place, and will appear This evening in the last Pantomime, in the truly laughable character of the “Taylor done over.”—Mrs. HENLEY is also engaged.
After the above Exhibition, a Comic Pantomime, called
HARLEQUIN’s GAMBOLS,
A PARODY:
The Business of which is selected from various Pantomimes new exhibiting in this Metropolis, but originally performed at this Place.
The Incomparable Sieur BOUZILARICO, the celebrated Ventriloquist’s IMITATIONS:
1st. The Trumpet, in a most extraordinary manner.
2d. The assembling of the Fox-hounds, in full try, with the French Horn, &c. very surprising.
3d. The Savoyard, with Organ, &c. truly laughable.
4th. The general alarm of Horse and Foot, with Trumpets and Drum; or forming the line of battle at the Alarm Post.
5th. The Chase and Death of the Wild Boar, &c. &c.
A Minuet by two Horses, rode by Messrs. ASTLEYS, Father and Son.
Young ASTLEY’s Exercises, with the Peasant Hornpipe, and Flag Dance; also, the astonishing Leap over the Garter!

By the most capital Group of Devils that ever appeared in this Country.
The TAYLOR’s COMBAT with his two HORSES, commonly called,

By the celebrates Miss Vangable, Messrs. T. and J. Taylor, Mr. Lonsdale, and Master Crossman.

And a SCENE of the VAUXHALL JUBILEE:
With a View of the Temple and Temple Walks illuminated.

The scenery, decorations, music and dresses, also entirely new.
The business of the Pantomime whimsical and pleasing; Harlequin, Columbine, and the Clown having a large field for fun and humour.
