Though it was hinted to us that Young ASTLEY’s Benefit would take place this evening, yet we had out doubts, from the multiplicity of unfinished matter, which was supposed could not be got ready in time; however, by the industry of both the ASTLEY’s, and an additional number of painters, this obstacle has been completely done away---a general rehearsal took place last night, which for brilliancy and variety, will most assuredly prove a high treat to the frequenters of Young ASTLEY’s Benefit this night. We have no occasion to publish the excellence of Young ASTLEY on horseback---his fame and reputation is well known throughout all Europe; we have only to say, that in the rehearsal of last night, he not only on his horses performed wonders, but wonderfully amazed us on the stage, in his Harlequin, &c.
