The Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, overflowed again last night from every part of the house, such is the uncommon excellence and attraction of Mr. Upton’s new spectacle of Fair Rosamond, or Woodstock Bower, which for magnificent and superlative splendour, blended with such interest as finds its way to the inmost recesses of every heart, was never equalled on any stage. The acting of Mrs. Astley in Fair Rosamond, would do credit to the talents of a Siddons.
