KING’ BIRTH-DAY. Astley’s, June 4, 1785. Mr. Astley most respectfully informs the nobility, gentry, and others, that a most capital Firework. Is purposely prepared, which will be displayed this evening in honour of his Majesty’s birth-day, at the conclusion of a new musical piece called The Rejoicing Night, or Huzza! King George and Old England for ever!—N. B. Mr. Astley has ordered a most brilliant Firework to be displayed on the Thames at the conclusion of the evening’s entertainments; the company who visit his Riding-school this evening, on passing over Westminster-bridge, will have an opportunity of seeing the firework, Mr. Astley having ordered the Fire-Barge to be moored head and stern exactly in the centre of the Thames, at a proper distance from the bridge.
